Description
Well, here he is! My first OC in dA, "Aether the Hedgechidna" in the finished version.
I gotta say I'm quite pleased of how this pic came out, the bike took me a lot of time.
Note that Aether's bike "Luminos" is hovering in the pic, that's why its shadow isn't close to its tires.

Name: Aether the Hedgechidna
Nickname: Ed
Age: 14
Species: "Hedgechidna" (Hybrid between Indian Hedgehog and Echidna)
Height: 178 cm (or, if compared with Sonic's official bio, Aether's height is just 110 cm, because Sonic is 100 cm tall)
Weight: Unknown, but quite light.
Eye color: Gray
Fur color: Light blue (or sky blue) and Orange (next to both of his eyes)
IQ: around 220-250
Marital status: Single
Occupation: Mechanic of many kinds, but mostly with Extreme Gears
Top running speed: 12 Km/h (Really, really slow compared to most Sonic characters)
Abillities:
- "Magnet Palm", his inherited abillty to attract metal objects to his hands. It's the reason why he can put together Extreme Gear parts in a very short time. The origin of this abillity is unknown.
- Very high knowledge and skill in various aspects of Extreme Gears.
Weaknesses:
- He was born with very below-average running speed, he's not weak, but his legs just won't allow him to go faster than 12 Km/h. He believes that it has something to do with his magnetic abillity.
- Can never balance on board-type and skate-type extreme gear even though he's very skilled in making them. This is the reason why his own Gear "Luminos" is a bike-type.
Interests:
- Speed, as an Extreme Gear enthusiast and a person with very slow running speed, Aether loves to push the Gear's speed up to the max whenever he can.
- Extreme Gears, as being said earlier.
Back story:
Aether's lifelong dream is to race against the fastest thing alive, Sonic the Hedgehog and beat him. Which would include Sonic on his feet and Aether on his bike. This might sound unfair, but Sonic's speed on foot is greater than when he's on any gear, this dream has given him the determination to study the Extreme Gears, and the hope of one day beating Sonic's speed with the fastest gear ever built.

Engine: 1100 CC Hydrogen-Oxygen Hybrid Engine. (Most Gears use only oxygen as fuel)
Weight: 210 Kg, but weightless when hovering.
Hovering capabillities: From 0.1- 2 Metres above the ground.
Top speed (ever reached): Mach 2
Exact top speed: unknown

I want that bike Aether and PsuC you both are awesome. The detail on the bike is amazing. I'm going draw someone kind like Aether but a bit different.
